Quan
My path to Feldenkrais began through personal curiosity rather than a single dramatic moment. After years of working as a teacher — first in Beijing, then in California — I became increasingly drawn to how we learn, not just intellectually, but through the whole body. Movement became my laboratory.
I went on to train in yoga, coaching, and somatic practices, including Body-Mind Centering, before completing a four-year professional Feldenkrais training, graduating in 2024. What struck me most about the Feldenkrais Method was its gentleness and honesty — it doesn’t push the body into shapes or force correction. Instead, it invites the nervous system to notice, explore, and find its own way to greater ease.
I work with people who are curious about movement, whether they’re managing pain and tension, recovering from injury, or simply wanting to feel more comfortable and coordinated in everyday life. Sessions are slow, attentive, and deeply practical — the kind of learning that stays with you when you walk out the door.
I’m based in Otley and offer one-to-one Functional Integration sessions and small Awareness Through Movement group classes in Otley and Ilkley.
