Feldenkrais Method
The Feldenkrais Method is a gentle approach that uses movement and sensory awareness to help your nervous system find easier, more comfortable ways of moving. Through carefully guided sequences, it reduces unnecessary muscular effort and supports the body in letting go of long-held tension patterns.
In a group class (Awareness Through Movement), you are guided through small, comfortable movements — mostly lying down, sometimes sitting or standing. There’s no forcing or strain, just a curious exploration at your own pace. People often notice they feel taller, lighter, and breathe more easily afterwards.
Feldenkrais is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. It can help with persistent tension in the back, neck and shoulders, postural strain from desk work, stiffness that hasn’t shifted with other approaches, and simply wanting to move with less effort in daily life.
