Jennie is a Mizan Therapist. This is what Jennie does, in her own words:

I have always wanted to work with women and I first started my career with my midwifery training, then I went on to volunteer at a domestic violence centre for women. I trained as a Doula and continued on to train as a Hypnobirthing Practitioner. I came across Mizan Therapy training and I felt it would be an excellent treatment to add to my skills.

Whilst training I felt I had found what I have been destined to do. Working with women, listening to their stories and being able to physically help them with a gentle nurturing treatment, it ticked every box. With Mizan Therapy being for ALL women no matter what stage of life, what trauma she has been through or what surgery (if any) she has gone through I am totally in awe. The treatment is effective and women come for many different reasons, but every single reason is answered with a positive reaction in some way and it is a joy and honour as a Mizan Therapist to be part of it.

Mizan Therapy is fundamentally a massage treatment which focuses on the lower and upper abdomen, back and pelvis. The massage works on releasing tension that has developed causing misalignment in your body. The first appointment is lengthy, lasting approximately two hours. There is a thorough consultation looking at you holistically before moving into the deep and nurturing massage. After the massage we will put together a self-care plan for you so you can support your own healing along with Mizan treatments and return to your balanced, amazing self.
